You can make the doctor aware about the system
and ask him/her to register with us. Its absolutely

support@qfordoctor.com and we will take
necessary action to resolve the same. |

Why it is required to verify my mobile number? |

The entire system runs on mobile SMS technology.
The user account is primarily controlled by the
mobile only. For authenticating the user account it
is must to verify your mobile number. |

After registration how soon will i be able to
use the system. |

Once you verify your mobile number you can use
this system instantly. |

How many appointments with doctor can i register using this
system? |

You can register one(1) appointment per doctor
per day and in total Three(3) appointments in a
particular day. |

Is there any charge to book the appointment? |
| |
There is no charge to book an appointment as far
as qfordoctor.com is concern but you will be charged
the special SMS rates by your mobile company
prevailing at the moment you book the appointment.
This charges are operator dependent and may vary for
Rs.1 TO Rs.3 or more depending on the operator. This
charge will reflect in your monthly mobile bill or
will be deducted from your prepaid mobile balance
and will be born by the respective user / patient /

What if I am not visiting the doctor after
booking an appointment. |

You have to cancel the appointment with the
doctor if you don't wish to visit the doctor. The
fees for cancellation is same as mentioned above in
answer to point h). |

What if I don't visit the doctor after booking
the appointment and don't even cancel the same? |

This behavior will cause problem to doctors and
other patients and also degrades the efficiency of
the system. Users with such behavior will not be
tolerated by the system and will be banned till they
don't explain the reason of such behavior to
qfordoctor.com or are penalized for such behavior. |

Is it required to carry the phone along while
visiting the doctor for the booked appointment. |

No. It is not required to carry the phone but do
remember your sequence in the queue and the time of
the appointment, but it is always better if the
phone is handy. |

What is an Appointment Code / Appointment
Number / Numeric Appointment ID of Appointment. |

This is a numeric ID by which the system
identifies a particular appointment of the doctor.
Each appointment has a unique id even if the doctor
is same e.g Dr. Sharma visits Shanti Nursing Home
every day in moring at 10.00 AM and in the evening
at 6.00 PM he will have 2 different appointment IDs
for each of this appointments. So if you wish to
book for the morning session the appointment ID to
use will be 4355 & for appointment in the evening
session use the appointment ID 5321. |

From where will i get the Appointment Code /
Appointment Number / Numeric Appointment ID of a
doctor with whom i wish to take an appointment for
consultation? |

The Appointment Code / Appointment Number /
Numeric Appointment ID can be obtained by searching
the doctor that particular doctor on this website or
by contacting the Hospital /Dispensary/Nursing Home
where the doctor conducts its practice. |

How is appointment confirmation with the
position in the queue and time of appointment is
conveyed to me? |

There is a confirmation SMS message immediately
after you register for an appointment, this is the
first SMS you receive. Once the doctor starts the
appointment a second message is sent to the user
stating its final position in the queue and the time
of his/her appointment with the doctor. |

What if my mobile phone is lost? |

As far as your mobile number is not changing
there will be no effect on your registration. If you
plan to change your mobile number then you can do so
by going in the "View/Update Profile" section after
you login. After changing your mobile number you
need to reactivate your account. |

This service is available in entire India / upto
the reach of the SMS shortcode number. |

We have covered almost all mobile service
provider of India under this service / short code
still you can check it by sending a simple SMS as
"DOC" to our system. If you get a reply to it, that
means it is possible to use the service with your
mobile phone connection. |
